The Executive Chairman of Jos South Local Government Area Hon. Silas Patrick Dung attended the burial ceremony of Stephen Dung Pam, popularly known as Bindiga, the late Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Executive Chairman of Barkin-Ladi LGA.
The solemn event, held in Barkin-Ladi, brought together family, friends, and government officials to pay their last respects to the deceased.
During his remarks, the Jos South Chairman offered prayers for the bereaved family and the entire Barkin-Ladi community, asking God to grant them strength and comfort in their time of grief.
He eulogized the late Bindiga as a courageous man who was never afraid to speak truth to power. Turning to the widow, he consoled her and urged her to take solace in God, describing Him as the ultimate protector of widows.
He also encouraged his counterpart, the Chairman of Barkin-Ladi LGA, to remain steadfast, assuring him of continued support and solidarity.
